But a brief love affair radically changes Alan Rickman’s life.

Please, don’t throw slippers at me 🙂 If you don’t like it — don’t read it. But this version has the right to exist.
This storyline has been spinning in my head for a very long time. I even started writing a fanfic once, but it was never finished — it was too dramatic and tearful. It never left my computer.
I didn’t want to write yet another story where Rickman leaves Rima and turns into an emotional wreck. I deeply respect their relationship, and I hate even having to refer to it in the past tense.
The only note — Alan is around 56 years old in this story (oh god, I do not consider 40 to be old!), which places it around the release of the second Harry Potter film.
